The emotional Wellbeing Group have recently received funding from Wigan Council, Assura Healthcare and Jigsaw Foundation to offer free counselling support to a number of local residents.
At the moment they have 8 free counselling sessions available every week with individuals able to access up to 6 free sessions. They also offer two levels of low cost support for those wanting to access ongoing support which is either a £20 donation or £10 reduced rate for individuals who are in receipt of benefits.
From May the number of free sessions available per week will be increasing and they will also be offer free group support from the Summer.
They also offer a free weekly drop in service every Tuesday, this is a text based service that individuals can access via our website called Live Chat.
