We now have a Walking Group that holds weekly health walks in partnership with our other local medical practices.
The Walking Group meets every Tuesday (weather permitting) at 1.30pm from outside the main doors of the Bridgewater Medical Centre.
Each weekly walk lasts for up to an hour and are supported by the Wigan Active Living Team.
The walks are ideal for people who want to be more active and are not sure where to start. They are a great way to meet new people and to have a good chat as you enjoy the walk. They are guided health walks and they are completely free. You are welcome to bring along a friend even if they don’t attend our surgery.
