The Wigan Later Life and Memory Team are holding monthly Carer Support Groups for those caring for someone with a dementia diagnosis. There are professionals from LLAMS at each group, including a Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner, a Counsellor and also Senior Nurse Practitioners. We also have many guest speakers volunteering at various groups throughout the year, such as the Alzheimer’s Society, Wigan and Leigh Hospice etc.
It is strictly for Carers only.
