‘Ask my GP’ our digital appointment request system is open 08.00 to 08.30 hours Monday to Friday except on Bank holidays.
Please do not request repeat prescriptions through Ask My GP’. Use our online repeat prescription service. Speak to reception if you do not have access to this or your prescriptions need authorized.
Give us as much information as possible on your request to help prioritize. We aim to respond to all requests within 7-14 days initially by a telephone triage by our clinician who will then offer an appointment for face to face assessment where necessary. We respond to urgent requests within 1-3 days depending on the nature of the request.
Please let our reception know if your illness or symptoms have worsened whilst you wait for a call back. Please check you email for any updates after your request is sent and ensure availability for a telephone call. If you are at work, you can provide us with a window period suitable for you for a call back from our clinicians. We cannot guarantee but will try to arrange call back during that period.
If you need to contact us when Askmygp is switched off to request an urgent or same day appointment , has a query about a prescription/referral or need any other information please do not hesitate to ring the surgery and speak to our receptionists who will be happy to assist you.
You also have the option of contacting the ‘GP Alliance Hub’ on 01942482848 to make an appointment or speak to a GP out of hours regarding any urgent care. Alternatively, ring 111 for advice.
