| About | Providing a Wellbeing, Housing and Recovery Support Service for Adults in the Wigan Borough. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Description | The support service is provided from three community hubs, ensuring people can access the service from across Wigan and the surrounding areas. The service provides support in peoples’ own homes, at our hubs through structured drop-in sessions, courses/activities and peer mentoring and in the local community. The support teams will be based at three community hubs in Wigan, Leigh and Platt Bridge. The Community Hubs will provide a range of support services, activities and workshops that everyone can access including peer support groups, a befriending service, a touch-base telephone service and a number of workshops run by outside agencies and professionals. The Community Hubs will provide a safe, inclusive and sociable space for you to access support, guidance and training and education opportunities.
